Engine Dynamometer LabDo some searches on Google and you'll note that all the references to M96 engines and their outputs are from chassis dynamometers. There is a really good reason for this, because the configuration of an Engine Dyno to accept an M96 engine and it's sub-systems is no small feat. The FSI engine Dynamometer Lab is part of a two test cell facility located within the Raby Enterprises Compound and is shared with our sister aircooled Porsche engine division, Aircooled Technology. This test cell features 16 channels of analog input on top of the acquisition and data logging of torque and HP. The engine dyno is used primarily for the development of performance engine packages, as well as the evaluation of newly developed components and procedures that assist with the advancement of the M96 engine. The FSI engine dyno lab is also used to evaluate newly completed stock and performance Turn Key engines prior to their release to the client. Each hand crafted engine that is produced by FSI features full dyno optimization and engine break in. This ensures the new engine can be installed without issues and can be driven without any engine break in necessary from the first day it's reinstalled into your Porsche. Note: New factory Porsche engines are delivered to your door step without ever being fired up.. They are not dyno proven and have never been evaluated to ensure their integrity. You won't find that here. Jake Raby
