Spec Boxster

Currently Flat 6 Innovations is working to develop components especially for the Boxster and 996s that are being employed on the track.

With the popularity of the "Spec Boxster" class we are working with the rules committee to consider the use of some of our specially prepared parts for use in the SPECBOX class. It is our intent not to give any car a performance edge, but more to allow the engine to have better reliability.

We are also working to create an engine alternative that will be employed after the factory Porsche program is discontinued (rumored in2011) that will allow "stock" engines to be produced without the need for working with Porsche.

Boxster prepared

The design of a "prepared" Boxster engine is currently being developed. In this tentatively planned class the 2.5 liter Boxster engine will be taken to our 2687cc package, camshaft will be added, CR will be elevated and head work will be applied as well as simple ECU enhancements, and performance exhausts fitted. This will make for a car that "Spec" racers can graduate to to experience some real performance from a 275 HP engine. More details on this later.

Boxster DE and AX engines

The Boxster is a PERFECT DE car and really has some potential in AX for dedicated track applications. We have already completed the engine design for these applications, so if you'd like to add some serious power to your Boxster, just follow this link to our online store

Custom Performance

If you have any other racing venue that you'd like to compete in, be it SCCA, PCA or POC and you desire a custom configured race engine to be built we can handle the task for you. Simply give us a rule book and we'll gladly find the gray areas and we'll gladly push the rules to the max for you.
