We offer fully upgraded stock engine rebuilds for the 986 and 996 2.5, 2.7, 3.2 and 3.4 liter engines. Utilizing the LN Engineering "Nickies" cyinders coupled to forged pistons, the common "D chunk" failure can be either repaired or it's chances of future occurence totally eliminated. Many other failures that have plagued the 986 and 996 engines have been identified by our team and have been addressed in ALL our engine rebuilds as standard procedure. Our program ensures that you won't experience the same failures that will be plaguing your friends who are depending upon the Porsche engine program, some of those engines don't make it past 30,000 miles! Factory replacement engines feature a 12 month/ 12,000 mile Warranty, its common for failures to occur shortly after this warranty period expires. (imagine that!) Our stock rebuilds don't simply re-apply the engine's factory specs, we exceed them through higher quality, more durable parts and advanced assembly procedures. The program we have created hasn't been easy due to Porsche's desire to make it that way. See; the factory doesn't want anyone else to rebuild these engines or even go inside them, so when we encountered difficulties in finding factory parts, we simply decided to have a better part made and not depend upon Porsche! They play their games, we play ours! The factory doesn't care what happens to your Boxster after its out of Warranty, just like they won't care when they suspend the factory engine program and leave your Boxster incapable of being driven when it's engine fails. Expect this to occur within the next 3 years! The Flat Six Innovations engine that is rebuilt to stock specifications will benefit greatly from the upgraded Nikisil plated cylinders created by LN Engineering that the factory never used because they were too expensive to apply! The same can be said for the forged piston that replaces the factory cast unit. This technology significantly reduces friction which reduces wear and lowers engine temperatures while boosting efficiency and adding longevity! Support for the enthusiast as well as independent repair shops to rebuild 986 and 996 engines, including parts and repair services (including IMS updates, cylinder repair and new pistons from LN Engineering due to D-chunk and other known cylinder failures, and various other improvements).
